iciHaiti - Petit-Goâve : Insecurity decreases according to Police
Tuesday, the Police Commissioner of Petit-Goâve, Ader Jacques declared at the microphone of Radio Préférence during the presentation of its balance sheet of 5 months, that he noted this week, a net decrease of insecurity in Petit-Goâve. According to him, this result is due to the partnership between the police and the population "[...] we have established good relationships with people and established with them prevention programs. We worked together with the Government Commissioner, Me Lenord Julien while using appropriate strategies [...]" He also stressed the fruitful cooperation of residents of dangerous neighborhoods and the formation of security brigades among others to the streets Desvignes, Ti Guinin, Grand-Chemin...

"Today we must recognize that there is a clear improvement of the situation [...] We almost reached the end of the insecurity. The bandits can no longer act as before. There are some places where criminals can hardly penetrate due to the vigilance of citizens. It is difficult that the National Road #2 is blocked for a few things, because we conduct patrols day and night."

"[...] During our 5 months at the head of the police station of Petit-Goâve, we made a lot of arrests and interpellations in order to put the bandits out of harm,"said Commissioner Jacques which did not fail to criticize bad press that tend to amplify and dramatize things.

Furthermore, he invited the EDH to put lighting in all areas of the city and people go about their business in peace, to go out at night to take part in recreational activities "Do not be prisoners of bandits."
