The Prime Minister named Fritz Alphonse Jean welcomes the 3rd anniversary of the pontificate of Pope Francis, and on this occasion attended a thanksgiving Mass, he was pleased that the Pope remained attached to his commitments to the poorest, the disinherited, of those left behind who had lost hope by initiating reforms and constantly promoting dialogue among religions and ecumenism.

The Prime Minister also welcomed Pope Francis "for his immeasurable love for Haiti he carries in his heart" and took the opportunity to express his greetings to the Representative of the Holy See in Haiti, Archbishop Eugene Martin Nugent and all Catholic community of the country and the world.
