Wednesday, Haitian singer Tifane named 2009 Ambassador of the Cause of Disabled Persons in Haiti by the Secretariat of State for the Integration of Disabled Persons made a warm and friendly visit to the Secretary of State Gérald Oriol Jr.

The renowned artist, who praised the Creole woman and integration of disabled people, resumes indeed her artistic activities and renewed her commitment to promote the cause of disabled people through its various activities and said she hoped to rally more people to the cause for the benefit of people with disabilities.

Tifane was born in Port-au-Prince. Her first single in 2005, at the age of 24 years "Se kòm si" knows a long lasting huge success. December 16, 2006, she signed her first album, "Anprent" another success. Besides the various concerts performed throughout Haiti, she participated in many prestigious international festivals and collaborated with the great of the music in Haiti and other countries like Emeline Michel, Fabrice Rouzier, Boukman Eksperians, Monique Seka and Maria de Barros. Tifane did vibrate the Street Ste Catherine at he 20th international festival "Les Francofolies de Montreal."
