iciHaiti - Bahamas : Seizure of 100 kg of narcotic, 5 Haitian arrested

Saturday, Bahamian police arrested and placed in custody five men of Haitian origin, following a major drug seizure in Inagua.
The report states that shortly after 7 p.m., officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by their International Counterparts from the US Coastguard and of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), acting on the basis of information have conducted research on a Haitian freighter in Inagua, where they found more than 100 kilos of cocaine.
The five men were the ship's crew have been taken into custody for questioning.
