Monday, Andrés Navarro, the Dominican Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that in the coming days, would restart the bilateral dialogue table with the Haitian authorities in order to improve relations between the two nations on the island.

"In the coming days we will officially receive, Pierrot Delienne, the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Haiti to resume discussions on how to improve our relations," adding that the political problems and economic and the transition in Haiti are the cause of delay taken to return to discuss common problems of the two countries.
