iciHaiti - Security : Arrest of 7 men in military fatigues

Following a complaint from residents, 7 individuals in military fatigues, which occupied the former police station of Frecyneau, at the southern entrance of St. Marc, have been arrested during a joint operation of the National Police of Haiti (PHN) and of the Minustah.

The operation took place without violence or gunshot. Among these individuals, mostly young, only two of them are demobilized former soldiers of the Haitian Armed Forces (FADH), according to the Chief Commissioner, Jean Jaures Sydney of the Police of St. Marc.

During their interrogation at the police station where they are in custody, these individuals reported being in mission under the order of their superior they did not reveal the identity.
