iciHaiti - Culture : Nice performance from Haiti in Louisiana
At the 4th edition of the French week of Arnauville to Lafayette, Louisiana (USA), which brought together artists and cultural operators from different countries and territories having in common Creole culture and the French language in sharing including : Louisiana, Haiti, Canada, France, Belgium and Martinique, Haiti Haiti stood out among others by an exhibition of pictorial works and photographs made by the artist Alex Bien-Aimé and photographer Richarson Dorvil ; the performance of singer musician Jean Jean Roosevelt, gold medalist of the Francophone games in 2013 and the conference debates on "the importance of heritage in the formation of the identity of a people", moderated by Martine Bruno Beaucicault, specialist in cultural heritage and responsible for communication to the Haitian National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH).
Note that Haiti has also participated with an important painting exhibition and the announced performance of the musician singer BELO, to the international festival of Louisiana, which ended Sunday, April 24.
