iciHaïti - Security : An assault rifle seized at the bus station of Gonaïves

The General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) reported that a police patrol during a check at the bus terminal of Gonaïves, had found in a bag and seized an assault rifle and ammunition, which were in a bus providing connection Port-au-Prince/Saint-Marc. The passengers were all interviewed by investigators attempting to identify the owner of the bag.
Furthermore, the Government Commissioner of Croix-des-Bouquets and the Brigade Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS) during a major operation, discovered a marijuana plantation in the zone of Lizon. The Ministry of Justice praised the work of the Government Commissioner and the team of the BLTS.
