iciHaiti - Diplomacy : New Ambassador of Nicaragua in Haiti

Friday at the National Palace, President a.i. Jocelerme Privert, received the credentials of the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nicaragua in Haiti, Valdrack Ludwing Jaentschke Whitaker.

The Ambassador Whitaker, reiterated the commitment of his country to support the President of Haiti, in his many efforts to restore constitutional order.

For his part, President a.i. Privert reassured the Nicaraguan diplomat of his willingness to work to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between Haiti and Nicaragua.

Following the presentation of credentials, the new Ambassador of Nicaragua in Haiti presented a floral offering to the Haitian National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH).

Following this floral Offering in honor of the Founding Fathers, the Director General of MUPANAH Michèle G. Frisch invited the ambassador to discover the history and culture of the country with a tour of permanent and temporary exhibitions rooms of the museum.

After the visit the new ambassador praised the memory of the Heroes of the Independence of Haiti as liberators of peoples.
