iciHaiti - FLASH : Important fire on the military base in Fort-Liberté

Friday, following a short circuit in an air conditioning equipment, a major fire broke out at the military base that shares a battalion of 250 Uruguayan soldiers and 160 Peruvians, in Fort-Liberté.
"There were no serious injuries but the buildings in Isopanel were completely destroyed informed the Army Spokesman, Yamandú Lessa," adding "quickly the fire plan was applied and fortunately there were no serious injuries, just some minor injuries, but the material losses are total."
According to the spokesman, the replacement of these buildings by the UN Organization should be very fast.
