Thursday, following protests by employees of the National Ambulance Centre (CAN) against Dr. Garnel Michel, Director of the Centre; Gabriel Thimothé, the new Director General of the Ministry of Health proceeded to the installation of a Board of 3 people at the head of the Centre : Dr Jean Antoine Alcéus (President), Irma D. Bois and Dr Pierre Elie Célestin (members).

The Executive Board is responsible for ensuring the ongoing management of CAN for a period of 6 weeks from taking office, Friday, May 13, 2016.
