Saturday, at the invitation of the "Junta Central Electoral" (JCE) as observers for the general elections taking place in the Dominican Republic (Sunday, May 15), Léopold Berlanger, President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to the head of a Haitian delegation composed of the Vice President Carlos Hercule, the Secretary-General, Marie Frantz Joachim, of Philippe Augustin, Director of the electoral register and Lourdes González, Director of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, visited the "Tribunal Superior Electorl" (TSE) Dominican.

The delegation was received by Mariano Rodriguez Rijo, the TSE President, in the presence of magistrates Mabel Féliz Báez and José Manuel Hernández Peguero and members of the delegation of electoral observers from the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR).

Saturday, the Haitian delegation also went to the JCE to share and exchange experiences and learn about technical developments in the Dominican electoral system.
