Saturday, May 16, 2016, as part of the 213th anniversary of the creation of the Haitian flag on the initiative of the Consulate General of Haiti in Chicago and the Haitian Congress to Fortify Haiti was organized an evening recreational, cultural and patriotic at the Levy Center located at 300 Dodge Ave. - Evanston (Illinois).

At the program for this evening, should be noted the performance of guest artists from Haiti: Marjorie Cajuste, a folk singer from the city of Saint-Marcand the well-known Joël Lorquet. Other groups from the Haitian diaspora including Harmony of Chicago, also performed on stage. The lawyer Daphnée Pierre "Bond Court Specialist" was the keynote speaker at the event and the Consul General in Chicago, Lesly Condé delivered his traditional message.
