iciHaiti - FLASH : Pope deplores the absence of bilateral dialogue

Friday, in a note, Pope Francis regretted the absence of dialogue between the Dominican and Haitian authorities to find a solution to migration problems, displaced persons and provide a response to the deficiencies suffered by the Haitian people.
The note states that "The Holy Father expressed his concern about the social problems experienced in America in general [...] the shortcomings of the Haitian people and the lack of dialogue between the authorities of the countries that share the island,Haiti and the Dominican Republic, to find a legal solution to migrants and displaced persons [...]"
