Yves Romain Bastien, the Minister of Economy and Finance has installed Ms Marie Margareth Fortuné o the post of General Director of the State lottery. She takes over Fritz Jean Louis.

In her remarks of circumstance, the new Director General wished to thank the various political, public figures, the structures of civil society and especially women's organizations that took part in her installation.

She affirmed herdetermination to contribute to the smooth running of the institution, so that the Lottery can find the path to which it is intended, in order to encourage a better distribution of wealth in the country. Stating that "the new team of the Lottery has the support and collaboration of all Haitians, who believe that the country can once again become a country with diverse opportunities."
