Sunday, May 29, will be held at the women's prison of Pétion-ville the "Head to Head Day" which aims to allow inmate mothers to meet their children for a few hours for a moment of socialization and closer family ties. This project is an initiative of the Western Regional Office of the UN Mission, in conjunction with the Directorate of Prison Administration (DAP) national.

Moreover, yesterday Friday, was held into the Prison of Cap-Haitien the closing ceremony of the project of preparation of inmates for community reintegration. This project consisted in offer inmates a possibility of professional learning, civic and psychosocial support to facilitate their reintegration. This project was conducted in partnership with the DAP and the CARITAS charity.
