iciHaïti - Security : Tribute to police officers killed on duty
Friday at the National Police Academy (ANP) on the Road of Frères, the Prime Minister, Enex Jean-Charles, accompanied by Camille Edouard Jr., Minister of Justice and Public Security, the General Secretary of the Primature, Maridès Ménager-Alexandre and the high command of the national Police of Haiti (PNH), paid a fitting tribute to police officers killed on duty from June 1995 to June 2016.
The tribute ceremony was an opportunity for the Head of Government to tell to all police officers that it is the whole nation that feels for them a deep appreciation for the heroism they demonstrate every day, sometimes until the ultimate sacrifice "Everyone knows how the work of the PNH is exemplary [...] Time passes but does not clear the imperative need of remembrance. Know that the Republic will be eternally grateful to those who serve with honor and sacrifice."
