The 8th Edition of the "Feria de las Culturas Amigas" (Friendly Cultures Fair) that concluded its activities there a few days in Mexico City, with the participation of 93 invited countries including Haiti, received this year according to organizers more than 3.5 million visitors who were able to attend more than 20,000 activities organized in different cultural centers and museums during the 15 days of the event.

Haiti, through its diplomatic representation, participated as every year for the last 8 years, to this important event. After REBO coffee in 2015, the craft business "Haiti Emarket" made this year the displacement from Haiti with its articles of iron cut. Faz Compa, a popular music group composed of Haitian established in Mexico City, electrified the Mexican public who discovered our "Kompa" on the stand of Haiti animated by Philippe Baptiste "Chocolight" a Haitian artist well known from a certain public in Mexico.

The Haiti stand under the coordination of consular and cultural sections of the Embassy allowed the "Chefs" of the Haitian community to value our gastronomy and sellers of handicrafts to break the Mexican market.
