iciHaiti - Education : Drugs at the secondary, worrying situation
The National Commission to Fight against the Drug (CONALD) closed its awareness campaign against drug use in schools, started in November 2015. The campaign, which cost 100,000 US dollars helped to educate 50,128 students about the risks of drug use.
Recall that according to the data collected during the last school survey on the prevalence of drug use amon the students of secondary in Haiti, conducted in 2014 by the office of the CONALD: 20,216 students made use of inhaled drug, or 6.3% of all students of secondary ; 30,121 consume tranquillizers (11.2%); 20.613 made use of stimulants (7.6%). 56% of the school population consumed alcohol and 12.1% smoked cigarettes...
