Tuesday at the Primature, Prime Minister Enex Jean-Charles, accompanied by the high command of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) met the press about the new measures taken by the national police in order to strengthen security measures in the country especially in the Metropolitan region.

The Head of Government reiterated its full confidence in the unfailing determination of the PNH to protect lives and property throughout the territory. He also announced provisions to increase the number of fixed and mobile patrols in the streets, especially during peak hours and standardize the systematic inspection of motorcycles.

The Prime Minister also commended the work of the PNH and urged the population to remain calm, to be more vigilant and to cooperate with security forces to neutralize all the bandits who are trying to undermine all the efforts of Government in the stabilization and security of Haiti.
