Following the participation in November 2015 of Haitian entrepreneurs in the 33rd International Fair of Havana (FIHAV) https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-15639-icihaitieconomy-haiti-present-at-the-33rd-havana-international-trade-fair.html , a delegation of Cuban buyers was received Thursday, June 30 at the Karibe Convention Center in Petion-Ville, by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Haiti (CHIC) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry West (CCIO), with support from Caribbean export.

This activity that brought together nearly a dozen Haitian companies, enabling them to better understand the mechanisms and procedures for doing business with Cuba and forge ties with Cuban companies to allow Haitian products to reach the Cuban market.

Guided tours of Haitian companies were also carried out by the Cuban delegation during their stay.
