The Dominican National Police (PND) proceeded to the arrest in the section of Mata de Palma, Province El Seibo, of 5 men of Haitian nationality suspected of being involved in the assassination with edged weapons of a Haitian compatriot Tibao Yan (50 years).

The Haitian detainees for investigation have been identified as : Samuel Laiti ; Milet Oguis ; Ani Yesi, Dany Yan et Yaryan Polo, all residents of Mata de Palma.
