The technicians of the various decentralized offices of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL) began the important work of identification of antenna towers, which can be a danger to the population.

Several antenna towers in bad condition, because poorly maintained or installed in inappropriate conditions in urban centers or illegal, have already been identified.

CONATEL has intensified its inspection campaign and recalls that Regulation # OE-CNT-DEC20150009 on standards for the implementation of antenna towers, provides for authorization for a category of antennas and towers sanctions against those who continue to build towers out of standard.
