iciHaiti - Politic : The Town Hall of Petion-ville laid off over 1,000 employees

Thursday at a press conference, the Mayor of Petion-ville Dominic St Roc and the Deputy Mayor, Alexandrah Roumain, announced the layoff (on availability) (without pay) of 1,080 municipal employees, due to payroll apparently too high, a wage debt of over 40 million, some fraud, pending verification of the actual existence of all employees and the justification for each of them to the municipal government level.
