iciHaiti - Agriculture : The Minister Ariol Fleurant in Nairobi

Aviol Fleurant, the Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, participates from 17 to 22 July in Nairobi (Kenya) at the 14th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
During the first days of this meeting, various topics were discussed. During discussions around the theme "Supporting public policy for an inclusive and dynamic market," the Minister Fleurant in his speech in the presence of his counterparts from India, Egypt, France, Portugal, Russia and England declared "[...] The Republic of Haiti, located in the Caribbean Basin, of a coastal wealth of over 1,700 kilometers of rare biodiversity, known disadvantages in the global economy, despite its high value historical heritage, its natural and cultural potentials... Haiti's agricultural sector was not equitably put competition with countries provided with technological and financial resources to supervise and subsidize their agriculture [...]"
