RFI and France 24 are among the most followed radio and television channels in Haiti, according to results of a survey conducted by IPSOS.

RFI has more than 3 million weekly listeners in Haiti :

Known by two thirds of the Haitian population (67%), RFI is followed by more than 3 million Haitians every week (42% of the population) and has become a major player in the local radio landscape. It ranks among the most listened radio stations in the country (across all radio stations). On the Internet, RFI has more than doubled in three years its traffic from Haiti.

RFI enjoys a good image with its Haitian listeners with "information and programs considered of quality, various topics, professional journalists and good news coverage worldwide."

Especially acclaimed (1/3 local auditors), the slice "The appointment of the Americas and Haiti," currently broadcast 7h10-7h30 (local time).

Recall that RFI launched on March 27, after the previous audience measurement, a new program in French and Creole

broadcast exclusively on its Haitian antennas. France 24 is now known by 32% of the Haitian population and 15% of the Haitian watch at least once a week or over a million weekly viewers). The success of France 24 in Haiti is also confirmed on the internet with 26,000 visits on average each month, the channel records there a 73% growth in traffic in 3 years.

Survey conducted by the French survey company from March-May 2016 in 6 Haitian cities (Port-au-Prince, Jacmel, Cap Haitien, Les Cayes, Jérémie and Gonaïves) among a sample of 1,219 individuals aged 15 and over, representative of the population.
