iciHaiti - Montreal : Haiti at the World Music Festival of Women

Haiti participates in Montreal, 5th Edition of the World Music Festival of Women from here and elsewhere from 29 to 31 July 2016.
In order to represent Haiti well to this Festival, a Haitian delegation of singers : Rutshelle Guillaume, Misty Jean and Ogé was received at the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal. She was accompanied by Charly Maiwan, President of the Festival and Ronald Osias, member of the Cabinet of the Minister [[Marc Aurèle Garcia] of the Culture.
The Consul a.i. of Haiti Justin Viard, took the opportunity to remember that this kind of event offers opportunities to sell a better image of Haiti "[...] because you represent ambassadors of our rich culture." The members of the delegation signed the guest book of the Consular Mission before being subsequently received to the City Hall of Montreal by Frantz Benjamin, Chairman of the City Council.
