Monday, August 1, the Haitian Committee for commemoration of Africa Day in Haiti, in collaboration with members of the Beninese community in Haiti, is organizing at the Café des Copains (Bois-Verna), from 4:00 to 9:00 pm a series of activities to mark the 56 years of independence of Benin.

Exhibition of texts-photos-clothes and objects from Benin; Paintings of artist oray, Doc Wor, James Pierre, Alex Bien-Aimé, Kevens Prévaris, Damson... Books on Haiti and Africa, Beninese traditional music and modern.

There will be a talk on the Benin with members of the Beninese community in Haiti, the Haitian alumni and special guests...
