On Wednesday, the Observation Unit of the Poverty and Social Exclusion (UOPES) organized at the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE), a vulgarization workshop of works done by this unit in the Ministry.

With this workshop, responsible for the UOPES intended to expose to the public in general and ministry staff in particular, all the research that this unit achieved on poverty and social exclusion through the national territory, from 2008 until now.

Participating in this activity, the Minister of Planning, wished to emphasize that UOPES represented the research matrix within the Ministry. He took the opportunity to pass instructions to the responsibles of this unit so that some of these documents are printed and made available to major universities of country.

Recall that the last 4 documents produced by UOPES dealt with: the Impact of the program "EDE-PEP"; street food in the fight against unemployment and poverty in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince; large families and poverty in Haiti and a successful initiative : the cooperatives and associations of Saint-Michel de l’Attalaye.
