The Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs its customers and the population in general, that a power cut is scheduled for Sunday, August 14, 2016, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm among others in the Downtown of Port-au-Prince and the Communes of Pétion-ville, Kenscoff, Carrefour, Gressier and Léogâne...

This planned outage is essential to achieve maintenance and pruning on the 69 kV transmission lines during hurricane season. This work also aimed repairing a three pole disconnecting switch 69 kV to the Rivière Froide substation, as well as pruning operations to the substations Toussaint Brave and Carrefour-Feuilles in order to prevent future incidents.

EDH calls for the collaboration of the entire population for these works are performed in the best conditions.
