Thus, the price of the food basket increases on the markets of the Croix des Bossales (2.5%), of Port-de-Paix (+2.5%) and especially of Cap Haitien (+6.5%). IHowever, it is down on 6 markets, significantly, those of Fond des Nègres and of Les Cayes (respectively -6.6 and -6.03%), of Jérémie (-3.7% ), of Jacmel (-3.6%) and of Ouanaminthe (-2.05%). However, 7 of 10 markets show significant inflationary pressures, compared to last year. The price increase is more pronounced in the markets of Ouanaminthe (+ 8.6%), Jacmel (+ 5.6%), Gonaives (+ 5%) and Cap Haïtien (nearly 3%). Note that on the markets of Les Cayes and especially Jérémie, recorded very significant declines in the price of the food basket, or -3.3 and more than -11% on average, respectively. IH/ iciHaiti
