The Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Disabled Persons (BSEIPH) of Southeast, launched jointly with the Directorate of Civil Defence and the Red Cross with technical and financial support from Handicap International, a wide training and awareness campaign for the benefit of 10 Communal Civil Protection Committees (CCPC), of Red Cross agents, of Representatives of Disabled People Organizations OPHs) for the consideration of the thematic Handicap in the Risk and Disaster Management (GRD) plans.

This training will enable brigadiers of Civil Protection, particularly, to be better equipped to receive and accompany people with disabilities in the event of major natural hazards.

The caravan has already visited Grand Gosier, Thiotte and Anse à Pitre.
