iciHaiti - Culture : End of Summer Camp «Orijin mwen se fyète m»

This Tuesday, the summer camp organized by the Cultural Heritage Association Nou "Orijin mwen se se fyète m" , which started on August 12 ended. Faithful to its objective to frame Haitian youth in search of its identity, the Haitian National Pantheon Museum hosted this camp in the space dedicated to children in the Gardens of MUPANAH.

During the summer camp, museum visits, talks debates on heritage, handicrafts and traditional dance workshops, painting and theater allowed the young participants to learn the basic values of Haitian culture.

In addition, during this camp, several important personalities of Haitian cultural world whose the General Director of MUPANAH Michèle Frisch, Ambassador Marcel Duret, former Director of MUPANAH Pradel Henriquez, the Administrator and the MUPANAH curator respectively André Thomas and Camille Louis,Sociologist Historian Lewis Clorméus well as the Director of Artistic company Palto Vanyan exchanged with children about their respective fields.
