In the framework of process of revitalization of the departmental directorates that will play a leading role in the implementation of the new decentralized planning system, Wilfrid Trenard, the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE), accompanied by the Executive Director and the Director of Human Resources, proceeded this week to the installation of Jean Romain Clerine, as the new Departmental Director of the West (DDO) of the Ministry.

In his words of circumstance, Wilfrid Trenard stressed the qualities of the newcomer, his discipline, competence and professionalism in the performance of its tasks. He also took the opportunity to remember that the departmental directors also have an obligation to supervise the local authorities in the development of local development plans and the installation of good programs and projects for the well-being of populations.

For his part, after the usages thanks Jean Romain Clerine appealed to the civic conscience of the entire staff of the DDO to carry out his mission.
