A working session was held between the executive boards of the National Committees of the International Council of Haiti Museums (ICOM-Haiti) and of the Dominican Republic (ICOM-Do).

This session aimed to create a new regional alliance "ICOM-America."

Discussions focused on the project of Academy of ICOM (International Council of Museums) aiming to set up a Training Center and Museum Studiesin the Caribbean.

This project will be conducted in collaboration with Haitian and Dominican universities.

Haiti was represented by Rachelle Doucet and Michèle Frisch, respectively President and Secretary General of ICOM-Haiti.
