As part of a better consideration of disabled people in the electoral process, the Office of the Secretary of State [Gérald Oriol Jr.] for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) informs that in collaboration with the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), its trainers were at work in the North, Artibonite, Southeast, South and Grande-Anse to provide training to Electoral Supervisors

regarding voters with special needs.

Fundamentals of disability; type of disability; Disability rights and simulation exercises on techniques for escorting disabled voters, are some of the points that have been developed during these training sessions and awareness.
