Haiti - Cholera : Demonstration front the National Palace against the UN
Tuesday nearly a hundred victims of cholera in Haiti, demonstrated outside the National Palace to demand the support of the Haitian authorities in the context of compensation claims to the UN. The protesters demand that President de facto Privert take position in their favor during the General Assembly of the United Nations next week.

The demonstration follows the note of August 19, of Spokesperson of the Secretary General Ban Ki-moon who had declared "[...] The Secretary-General deeply regrets the terrible suffering the people of Haiti have endured as a result of the cholera epidemic.
