The awards ceremony for the second edition of the "Young Journalist Award in Haiti" on the theme "Solidarity", took place at FOKAL in the presence of the organizer BRECAL/OIF Director, Mr. David Bongard, the President of the Jury - Mr. Frantz Duval, and participating partners such as Ambassadors : Paula Caldwell St-Onge (Canada), Élisabeth Beton-Delegue (France), Jean-Luc Virchaux (Switzerland), other partners and the local press.

Congratulations to journalists Widlore Mérancourt and Luckson Saint-Vil https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-18723-haiti-social-winner-of-young-haitian-journalist-award.html winners in the respective categories "Written press" and "News Radio".

For a consecutive second year, the Embassy of Canada in Haiti has been a proud partner of this contest. For Canada, this is a unique opportunity to reinforce freedom of expression and to reaffirm Canada's interest in defending human rights and press freedom in Haiti.
