On Friday, a 3 year old girl, kidnapped the day before to preschool Institution Our Lady of Hope located at Strred 16 Dwas found by police officers sequestered in a septic tank in Vaudreuil, at the entrance of the city of Cap.

Listening only to his courage, the officer Demelvard Dieufaite, agent 3 assigned to the Sub Police Station Haut du Cap did not hesitate a moment to descend into the depths of a pit charged with fecal matter to release the 3 year old girl and bring her back to the open air. Illustrating by his act brilliantly, the motto of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) "Protect and Serve".

Michel-Ange Gédéon, Director General of the PNH, extended his warmest congratulations to the policeman who helped enhance the institution's image and extended its congratulations to all the officers who participated in this operation.

The agent Demelvard Dieufaite which will be raised to the rank of officer IV, was received Monday by the High Command.
