The Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH) with the support of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), prepare an accountability policy document for Public Administration for the 2017-2027 decade.

It is in this context that a working meeting bringing together officials from various institutions was held. Among these institutions, besides OMRH and IDEA, there was the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the National Public Procurement Commission (CNMP).

The discussions were very lively especially around the authorizing officer and public accounting concepts.

However, participants were unanimous in recognizing that accountability is a constitutional obligation and inseparable from the evolution of the Haitian State.
