Members of the Operational Detachment of Border Intelligence (DOILF) of the Dominican Republic, attached to CESFRONT (Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Fronteriza Terrestre), arrested in the border community of Don Miguel (Dajabón), an individual identified as Jose Perez Peña Hernesto, and seized a Daihatsu truck red registered L264213, in which was hidden in a false floor, 21 marijuana packages from Haiti totaling 230 pounds.

Pérez Peña, a repeat offender who had recently been released from a Dominican prison after serving a sentence of 5 years also for a drug case and the 21 packages of drugs seized, were brought to the headquarters of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) for legal suites.
