iciHaiti - Venezuela : Towards the construction and rehabilitation of housing

Monday, the Venezuelan government sent a working team of the "Barrio Nuevo Tricolor" to Haiti to carry out a study on the damage caused by Hurricane Matthew in early October. The teamp composed of four person provides for the continued cooperation of Venezuela in the construction and rehabilitation of housing in Haiti, informed Jesús Gómez, Director of Logistics, stating "Our objective is to investigate the damage caused and our role is to replicate what we do in Venezuela, make a collection center, reorganize all the materials that have already been sent to Haiti."
For the recovery of Haitian nation housing, Venezuela has two silos to store 120 tons of cement and 2,000 cubic meters of aggregates, as well as 28,500 square meters of roofs, for the rehabilitation of houses in the town of Grand'Anse .
