In a memorandum of Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ), signed by its President, Jules Cantave, the latter reminds the heads of jurisdictions and Judges, the obligation they have to act in strict compliance with the electoral decree of March 2, 2015, before, during and after the election day of Sunday, November 20, 2016.

However, the CSPJ, while welcoming the holding of these elections, which are decisive for the strengthening of democracy and the rule of law in Haiti, reminds all magistrates of the judiciary to apply the principles of neutrality, impartiality and independence in all circumstances.
