The Government of Mexico expresses its appreciation to the people and the Government of Haiti for the elections held on Sunday, November 20th.

Mexico expresses the hope that the electoral process will continue to develop peacefully and that the country will progress towards the consolidation of its democracy.

The Mexican Government also underlined the accompanying work of the Organization of American States and the United Nations.

Finally, Mexico reaffirms to the Haitian authorities its determination to continue to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
