iciHaiti - Education : Inauguration of the National School of Duclos

Friday, Jean Beauvois Dorsonne, the Minister of National Education, in the presence of among others Mrs. Carmithe Israna Germain Deputy Director General of the Social and Economic Assistance Fund (FAES), the Representative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Mayor of the city, Ernst St-Phare, Director ai of the school, Etienne Dieuseul inaugurated the Fundamental National School of Duclos (commune of Desdunes, Artibonite).

Funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to the tune of 41 million Gourdes, this school with a capacity of more than 400 students includes 9 classrooms for the Fundamental and 2 rooms for kindergarten. Located on a plot of nearly 5,000 m2, the school also has an administrative building, a library, a sanitary block, a 7,000-gallon water tank and a cafeteria.

On the same day, FAES also inaugurated the community school Le Phare located in the neighborhood "Bercy" to Cabaret.
