Former Minister of Communication Ady Jean Gardy, the current President of the Haitian Press Federation, participated in Madagascar at the 45th Assises of the French-speaking press (20-24 November) on the theme "The economy of the media in developing countries", which was debated in workshops and roundtables.

More than 47 countries were represented at the Assises, with more than 300 journalists and media directors from around the world, including a Haitian delegation of audiovisual media journalists.

On the sidelines of its Assises, Ady Jean Gardy took the opportunity to meet, among others, the President of the Republic of Madagascar, Hery Rajao Narimam Pianina, who expressed the wish to see Haiti stabilize after the elections in order to facilitate relations of Cooperation between the two countries.

The next Assembly will take place next year in Conakry (Guinea).
