Monday, the day of the announcement of the preliminary results of the presidential election https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19370-haiti-flash-preliminary-results-1st-round-elections-20-november-2016.html , Prime Minister Enex Jean-Charles held a special security meeting of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN), at the end of which the National Police of Haiti (PNH) and the judicial authorities were asked to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of all citizens and to ensure the protection of property throughout the country.
Surrounded by Ministers Camille Edouard Jr. (Justice), Anick François Joseph (Interior and Local Authorities), Chief of Staff André Lemercier Georges, of Secretary of State for Public Security, Himmler Rébu and PNH High Command, the Head of Government has given formal instructions to the police to take all necessary measures to ensure order and calm throughout the national territory.
