Haiti - Elections : Appeal of the Collective of December 4, against anarchy and violence

The Collective of 4 December 2013 launches an appeals to political parties and their representatives to invite them to remain calm and serene after the publication of the preliminary results of the presidential elections.

"The Collective of 4 December 2013 insists particularly on the fact that the supporters of the candidate who arrived at the front of the pack in the results of the presidential elections of 20 November and representatives of other political parties must refrain from make violent comments on social networks and the media. Threats and violence, wherever they come from, are counterproductive and only harm society as well as the image of the Party that professes them. It is the duty of the Heads of Parties and / or candidates to call their supporters to order. It is equally the imperative duty of the authorities responsible for the security of the citizen and its property to react promptly with the utmost rigor against the troublemakers and breakers [...]

We invite those who have chosen the path of physical and verbal violence to recover and accept the verdict of the polls for the country out of this crisis in which the country is immersed for over fifteen months.

The Collective of 4 December 2013 raises its voice loudly to say NO. To say that it is END OF ANARCHY ! IT IS END OF VIOLENCE !

The return to constitutional order is the way to reconquer our national dignity and develop our national production."
