iciHaiti - FLASH : A Haitian trader shot dead in La Romana (DR)

A man of Haitian nationality was shot dead by two individuals while working in his poultry business located on the main street of the municipality of Villa Hermosa in La Romana in the Dominican Republic.  

The victim, identified as "Ilevie Petisan", died when two people aboard a motorcycle came down and ordered goods, and then they shot him at close range before escaping, according to witnesses.  

The units of the Criminal Investigation Department (DICRIM) and Prosecutor Víctor Ramón Camacho Padua went to the scene to initiate an investigation accompanied by the forensic pathologist Dr. Benito Kelly for the lifting of the body which was taken to the morgue of the public hospital for legal purposes.
