A team of the Ministry of Defense, compodsed of agents of the Medical Health Unit and members of the Military Engineering Corps, is currently to the Cap-Haitien to provide assistance to the victims of the recent floods.

Together with the town hall, the Ministry's team ensures, among other things, a large distribution of food and hygiene kits and conducts medical consultations in the most disadvantaged areas of the Christophienne city.

In addition, a thorough analysis of the causes and effects of the vulnerabilities of the city during simple showers is being carried out by the Military Engineers in order to find a rapid and durable integrated solution and to put an end to these floods.

Note that besides this mission in the North, another unit of the Ministry of Defense has been active in the North West for more than a week.
